The Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is asking for the public’s help in locating a 77-year-old woman who has been missing since Sunday.
Renette Jean Simon left her home in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville area around 4:30 p.m. to run errands.
The seventy-year-old has Alzheimer’s and may have trouble getting her bearings, raising concerns among investigators who fear for her health and safety.
Ms. Jean Simon, a black woman who speaks French, is 1.75 m tall and has brown eyes and short black hair, according to Montreal police.
Apart from this physical aspect, the SPVM has no description of the clothing worn by the seventy-year-old, who has not given any sign of life since leaving home.
Anyone with information about the disappearance can contact the nearest police station or call 911.
