Professional tennis player Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian are now parents to a second little girl, Adira. The couple announced this on Tuesday on their father’s Instagram account.
“Welcome Adira River Ohanian,” Serena Williams’ husband wrote under a family photo shared on Instagram.
In the post, the family explained how happy and fortunate they are to welcome a healthy new girl into the family. “Serena William you just gave me another great gift,” her husband wrote.
Olympia, the family’s first baby, is more than happy to have a little sister. “No one is as excited as she is. She wanted this so bad. She’s been praying and asking for this for a long time, so she’s more than ready,” Mr Ohanian told People media.

As for Serena Williams, the 41-year-old mum made the announcement in a TikTok video. In the video we see Olympia, her father and mother sitting at a table until Serena gets up and takes little Adira in her arms.
