War in Ukraine Sergey Lavrov calls on US and NATO

Sergei Lavrov says Ukraine would have to agree to Russian terms otherwise "The army will decide"

The Russian foreign minister again asserted that the Kremlin has no intention of accepting Ukrainian peace processes.

Moscow’s proposals to “demilitarize” and “denazify” Ukraine are known to Kyiv and it is up to the Ukrainian authorities to respond, the Russian foreign minister said, adding that otherwise the Russian army would undertake to settle the issue.

“Our proposals for demilitarization and denazification of regime-controlled areas when threats to Russia’s security posed by Russia are ended [ces territoires]especially against our new provinces, are known to the enemy,” reported the official Russian news agency, citing Sergei Lavrov.

“[Nos conditions] are simple: complete them or the Russian military will decide the matter.”

Everyone stays in their positions

The standoff between Russia and Ukraine – which have been at war since last February – over negotiations for a peace deal thus continues.

This Monday, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kulebaduring the interview which he granted on Monday to the American agency Associated Press, confirmed that in two months he wanted to organize a summit for peace, under the supervision of the United Nations and directly at the United Nations headquarters.

But before it can take part in the negotiations, Ukraine is demanding that Russia accept the translation of some of its own documents before the international war crimes judiciary.
