Series break man wanted and joins Montreal

The Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is asking for the public’s help in locating a 48-year-old man allegedly involved in a series of burglaries in the city.

The SPVM has reason to believe that Éric Vervais committed around twenty burglaries in businesses in the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie and Plateau-Mont-Royal districts.

The 40-year-old has white skin, an aquiline nose with protruding ears and short brown hair. On most flights, he wore blue jeans, black shoes, and a V-neck hoodie with a light horizontal line across his chest.

The crimes had taken place since last August and all indications are that the suspect acted at night. According to the SPVM, the suspect picked the locks on shops and emptied the cash drawer inside, sometimes stealing items, before quickly fleeing on foot.
