At least five people were seriously injured in a collision between a vehicle and a heavy truck Sunday in Saint-Zotique, Montérégie, and caused traffic delays on Highway 20.

“According to initial information, the driver of a heavy-duty truck was unable to stop in time due to the slowing traffic and crashed into a sports utility vehicle in which five people were sitting (two adults and three children). ). They have all been taken to hospital where we fear for their lives,” the SQ said in a statement.
Reenactmentists and SQ investigators went to the scene to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident.
Highway 20 West is completely closed from kilometer six.
