Ramón Vades played the role of the character Seu Madruga in the series “Key“. As the episodes progressed, he became one of the most popular of the cast. The Mexico Cityborn star died of cancer at the age of 64.
Ramón was the son of Rafael Valdés Gómez and Guadalupe Castillo. In the family he is nicknamed “Moncho”. This was one of the customs of the actor’s parents to give nicknames to all their children. His brothers were also actors.
Early in his career, Valdés appeared in the cast of small films alongside his brother Tin Tán. He also worked with Pedro Infante and Cantinflas. Although well known on television, he became a veteran of the golden age of Mexican cinema.
When he joined the cast of “El Chavo del Ocho” (Chaves), Don Ramón also rose to prominence in Brazil, a country where fans fondly remember him. The actor’s daughter Carmen WaldesHe shared a photo of his father next to his granddaughter.
“Happy grandfather with his granddaughter full of love! This beautiful baby is my daughter Mariana who loved her grandfather for a few years but remembers him with great affection! On a day like today my baby daughter was born who is now a beautiful and enterprising woman,” Carmen wrote in the caption.
