Seven people were shot dead at two crime scenes in Northern California.
Another person was seriously injured, Half Moon Bay police said late on Monday. The alleged shooter, a 67-year-old man, has been arrested, Sheriff Christina Corpus said. The motive for the crime is not known. The man acted alone. Two people were also killed after being shot at a youth center in the US state of Iowa.
The bloody crime in the US state of California took place in an agricultural region south of San Francisco. The man fired shots at a farm, among other things, he said.
