Several crew members were injured in a crash on the set of “Gladiator 2” Splash

Several crew members were injured during a stunt sequence on the set of Gladiator 2. According to a statement from Paramount, there were accidents during filming in which six people were injured but not lifethreatening. The film is slated to hit theaters in 2024.

According to a representative of the film company, four of the six people injured remain in hospital in stable condition. All of the injured were treated for burns.

Crew members were treated immediately, Paramount says. “Security teams and extensive onset medical services were able to act quickly so that those injured could receive the necessary care immediately. All are in stable condition and continue to be treated.”

None of the cast members were injured. According to a source close to the shoot, speaking to American magazine Variety, the accident happened at the end of the day of shooting and none of the actors were involved.

The producer is expected to resume production soon. “The health of our cast and crew is most important to us and we have strict procedures in place around health and safety. We will continue to monitor the situation and take all necessary precautions until production resumes.”
