Belgium’s largest prison is reeling from a wild sex scandal in which guards and staff have been accused of organizing hot tub orgy parties and swapping colorful bracelets to determine their sex partners, a local report says.
Ten guards and staff at the Lantin prison near the city of Liège have come under fire for organizing sex parties after work and even having sex with each other during their shifts at the prison, according to a report by Belgian news agency Sudinfo. One of the employees was even described as a “nymphomaniac” who allegedly demanded sex from work colleagues.
The employees allegedly held orgies after hours, most often in a hot tub owned by a male security guard identified only as “P.” During the parties, employees allegedly randomly drew a colorful bracelet to determine which employee they would sleep with, the report said.

The anonymous source added that it was unclear how “S” was hired at the prison in the first place, pointing out that her brother was reportedly an inmate at the facility. The brother was reportedly sentenced to prison for the murder of a gay man, the source said.
“She visited him every day as a visitor and was very friendly to the families of the detainees in the waiting room,” the source told the medium. “She was very arrogant and haughty towards the agents monitoring the visiting room. Her admission to Lantin was a… [shock]especially since she went from being a visitor overnight to being a prison guard for a year.”

According to reports, the brother has now been transferred to Huy Prison, which is about 30 minutes’ drive from Lantin Prison.
The owner of the hot tub was reportedly banned from the prison’s women’s wing after he allegedly had sex with female inmates, the Chron reported. It is unclear whether other employees also allegedly had sex with inmates.

The employee, identified as “S,” has since been reassigned to work only in the women’s department to “calm her sexual urges,” the Chron reported.

An official investigation into the allegations will be launched against the 10 employees, and prison officials said they would investigate the allegations.
“On Monday morning we were informed by the media that there was a problem in the prison. We have asked the local prison director to conduct an internal investigation. This is currently happening and there is a possibility that disciplinary action will be taken,” Belgium’s Ministry of Justice of the Federal Civil Service told the Daily Star last week.
