A 31-year-old man was arrested again on Thursday in Rivière-du-Loup in connection with sex crimes he allegedly committed against several victims under the age of 16.
Jonathan Marceau-Moreau is charged with enticement, possession of child pornography, criminal harassment, extortion and providing sexually explicit material to a child.
According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the events with which he is accused occurred between April and November 2022 in Quebec, Rivière-du-Loup, Saint-Siméon and Sainte-Julie.
He appeared via videoconference at the Montmagny courthouse on the same day of his arrest. However, the investigation tends to suggest that he may have caused additional casualties.
Marceau-Moreau had already been arrested by authorities on November 24, 2022 for similar offenses before being released on conditions.
