The Colombian singer stunned social media in the middle of the Day of Love and Friendship when she posted a video of herself mopping the kitchen in heels while lip-syncing to the song “Kill Bill” by SZA.

Netizens were quick to slam the joke, with comments reading messages like, “This song is about killing the ex and his new girlfriend… just this Valentine’s Day. I hope it’s just a joke because then my Shaki really hit you too hard.

But it wasn’t all “black humor” as he also shared a “post” on social media about how he spent his first Valentine’s Day without Gerard Piqué.

This is how Shakira celebrated her first Valentine’s Day without pique

Despite the heartache she suffered at the end of her 14-year relationship with Gerard Piqué, the interpreter of “Monotonía” and “I Congratulate You” revealed that she continues to celebrate this date after being single.

Alongside the video that allegedly sent a sinister message to the former FC Barcelona player and his now-girlfriend Clara Chía, Shakira revealed via her Instagram Stories that her children Milan and Sasha are her Valentine’s Day date.

“My new Valentine’s Day tradition: pink milk and cookies for my babies before bedtime,” the singer wrote under the picture, which shows a table set and decorated with hearts.

Her pet Toby, a white rabbit who she and her children have appeared on social media with several times, was also part of her evening.

“My funny ‘valentine’,” the artist captioned, along with a cute photo of the bunny with a red bow.

How was Shakira and Piqué’s last February 14 as a couple?

It is worth remembering that a year ago the singer celebrated her last Valentine’s Day as a couple with the Spanish footballer. On his Instagram account, he shared a photo of himself with a big smile together with his children’s father.

“Happy Valentine’s Day” were the words with which he accompanied the picture.

In early August 2022, the couple confirmed the end of their love affair, amid rumors of the soccer player’s infidelity with his current partner Clara Chía, 23.

“We are sorry to have to confirm that we are separating. For the sake of our children, who are our top priority, we ask that privacy be respected. Thank you for your understanding,” the couple told Agencia EFE.

5 months later, the singer attacked Piqué through the lyrics of “BZRP Music Sessions #53” in which she gave details about their breakup.
