The Colombian singer Shakira inaugurated this Saturday a school in one of the most depressing and unsafe neighborhoods of her hometown of Barranquilla, where she assured that she feels “inspired, eager and strong to move forward”, although she currently does not have a release date. for his new album.
Shakira opened the Nuevo Bosque Pies Descalzos district educational institution in Barranquilla, with which she aims to impact and educate more than a thousand children every year in this community, which lives with socio-economic inequalities.
This school, in which more than 16 billion Colombian pesos (about 4 million dollars, 31 million quarter) were invested, consists of 22 regular classrooms, 4 preschool classrooms, two laboratories, art classrooms, a library, a dining room, a kitchen and other common areas so that students and the community can benefit.
