Emmy Rossum reunited with her former Shameless co-star Ethan Cutkowsky, 24, on Wednesday.
“This brings me so much joy,” Rossum, 37, captioned the two selfies she posted for her 4.2 million Instagram followers.
The Phantom of the Opera actress played Ethan’s older sister on the long-running Showtime series.
They appeared to be out on a hike as they posed in sweatshirts – gray for her and sage green for him.
Both Emmy and Ethan had big smiles on their faces.

The actors played siblings Fiona and Carl Gallagher in Shameless, as well as their other on-screen siblings, Jeremy Allen White, Emma Kenney and Cameron Monaghan.
Rossum’s character essentially raised her younger siblings while her father Frank, played by William H. Macy, struggled with drug and alcohol addiction.
“Shameless” ran for eleven seasons, with Emmy appearing in nine of them.
She left the show in 2018, expressing her appreciation for her long-standing role.
“This business is always an adventure, full of travel and opportunities to tell stories.” “Usually as an actor you travel to a new place every few months, start a new project, build a new character, learn new rhythms, new insider- Joke with the crew, meet new friends,” the 31-year-old wrote on Facebook.
“Until Shameless came into my life eight years ago, I was living a transient, wonderful life as an actor.” And I never realized how much I actually craved the continuity that that show gave me. And given to all of us in the crew.
She continued, “Season after season, I’m amazed that the same crew comes back.” And not just because it’s a beautifully written, wonderfully layered show.
“There are these real connections, real friendships that keep us coming back season after season.”

Emmy has two children with her husband, Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail.
They welcomed their daughter in May 2021 and their son in April 2023. She has never revealed the name of any of their children.
The “Beautiful Creatures” actress never announced or confirmed her pregnancy and shocked fans when she announced his surprise birth.
“Our son was born on a foggy Wednesday morning,” she wrote on April 6.
