Shane McMahon made a surprise return at WrestleMania 39, but it didn’t seem to go as planned.
McMahon, who has not appeared on WWE TV since January 2022, shockingly returned to face The Miz in an impromptu match. Similar to Saturday night, Snoop Dogg pushed The Miz into the match. McMahon came out and thanked the crowd for the reception.

He would whip The Miz into the ropes and jump over him if he ran across the ring. When McMahon landed, he appeared to have injured his knee and it didn’t appear to be part of an angle.
When McMahon was checked in, Snoop Dogg had to improvise and interfered in the match. He nailed The Miz with his right hand.
Snoop Dogg then played The People’s Elbow and pinned The Miz for the win in a messy scene.

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H said at the post-event press conference that McMahon tore his quad.
It’s the second night in a row that The Miz has been caught in an impromptu match despite serving as the host for WrestleMania at SoFi Stadium.

On Saturday, San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle was sitting ringside with his wife when The Miz came over to rubbish with the superstar tight end who was on the verge of winning the Super Bowl for the second straight year to talk. After Kittle fired him, The Miz pushed Kittle back into his seat.

Kittle took off his jacket and jumped over the barrier. He delivered a brutal clothesline to the wrestler, causing McAfee to flip on The Miz and knock him out. McAfee would win the match and he and Kittle would celebrate in the ring.
