Channel’s Nine’s highly anticipated Shane Warne docuseries, titled Warnie, will recreate a torrid kiss between the late cricketer and supermodel Elizabeth Hurley.
British actress Shanti Kali, who plays the English beauty, and Australian actor Alex Williams, who portrays Warne, embrace passionately in stills from the upcoming show.
The intimate moment was originally captured by paparazzi when Hurley and Warne were snogging outside the cricketer’s London hotel in 2010 and revealed their romance to the world.
The Windsor Hotel in Melbourne represented London on the series, with Kali and Williams kissing passionately against a wall.
“Due to technical issues, several takes were required so that viewers had enough time to watch the whole spectacle,” Kali told The Herald Sun this week.

He told the Mirror: “I was more in love with Elizabeth than I thought I would be. I miss the love we had “My years with Elizabeth were the happiest of my life.”
