Shane Warne’s ex-wife Simone Callahan says she still mourns death of legendary cricketer: ‘It’s something that can’t be fixed’
Simone Callahan announced Thursday that she still mourns the “huge void” left by her ex-husband Shane Warne when he tragically passed away last year at the age of 52.
The yoga and wellness guru, 53, lost the father of her three children to a heart attack on March 4, 2022 while the legendary cricketer was on holiday in Thailand.
Speaking to House of Wellness magazine, she admitted she still has a hard time dealing with her former partner’s absence.
“When we lose a loved one, nothing stays the same, as so many people would say.” “My children lost their father and I lost my children’s father,” she said.
“It’s hard to put that feeling into words, but it’s always there. It’s something you never believe will happen and it’s something that can’t be fixed.”

The yoga and wellness guru lost the father of her three children to a heart attack on March 4, 2022 while the legendary cricketer was on holiday in Thailand. Speaking to House of Wellness magazine, she admitted she’s still having a hard time coming to terms with his absence.
She continued, “There’s a heaviness, just the whole process, of living life without Shane.” But what the kids and I shared with him, we always will have.”
Shane and Simone married in 1999 and were married for six years before divorcing in 2005.
They shared three children – Brooke (26), Jackson (24) and Summer (22).
Shane died of a heart attack on March 4 while vacationing on Koh Samui, Thailand.

Thai police said he stayed at the villa with four friends and when one of the group tried to wake Shane to eat around 5pm local time, he was found unresponsive.
Shane’s manager separately confirmed his death and said the father-of-three could not be resuscitated.
He is considered one of the greatest cricketers in history, having recorded 708 Test wickets with 25.41 in 145 games between 1992 and 2007.
