Now Alabama Barker’s mom, Shanna Moakler, has stepped in to support her 17-year-old daughter.
Speaking to Page Six, Shanna, 48, gushed about her daughter’s “amazing” rap career and described how her music career was a “natural progression” after being raised by her father, Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker became.
“I think her rap career is great. “My kids have been raised on a tour bus since they were born,” Shanna told the outlet.
“Every creed, every race is going to love hip-hop and rap, that’s not going to change,” she said. “So for me it’s a very natural progression.” [Alabama]”Because she was in the studio with her dad with the greatest musicians in the world.”

“They have literally traveled the world countless times with some of the greatest musicians, rap artists and hip-hop artists on the planet [for Alabama’s] “The highest music genre of our generation right now is hip-hop and rap,” she said.
Shanna also praised her daughter for having “the confidence” that not many teenagers her age have.
In May, Alabama defended her rap skills after being slammed for her singing style.
She took to social media to make her point.
“I’m sick of people saying I don’t know anything about rap music, I didn’t grow up listening to rap music, I wasn’t anything,” she said, according to People.
“So let’s take a little trip into my life because you know it so well,” added the star, whose mother is Playboy model Shanna and stepmother is Kourtney Kardashian.
The model then shared pictures with rap stars like Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and A$AP Ferg.

The star, who later deleted the clip, said, “She didn’t grow up listening to rap music.” Why is she doing that? Why is she doing that? “I was influenced by rap and punk rock throughout my childhood.”
She then remarked that she knew she was privileged.
“For that I am beyond grateful and blessed.” “It is not okay for people to make fun of any culture or disrespect it at all,” she added.

She grew up in Calabasas, California.
She could be seen chanting lyrics like, “We’re not dating when I’m with him.” in clip.
She appeared with a full face make-up and presented a bright orange wig with a blonde streak.
Fans quickly noticed that the up-and-coming musician’s vocals and accent seemed to have changed once she took up rap.
One amused viewer commented on Twitter, “I don’t understand how white girls can be rich and choose to be rich?” Like I was in a swimming pool spending money somewhere.’
