Sharna Burgess Reveals She Was Afraid To Tell Brian Austin Green And His Kids About Her Pregnancy

Announcing a pregnancy can be a mix of emotions, from excitement to horror. Even dancing superstar Sharna Burgess got nervous when she told boyfriend Brian Austin Green they were pregnant.

Burgess told US magazine about the day she told Green about her unexpected pregnancy. She recalled taking the pregnancy test in the bathroom and wondering how to tell him while her team, the Los Angeles Lakers, lost the game they were watching.

She said, “I thought, ‘What should I do?’ I can’t tell him now. This is terrible news as the Lakers lose. So I waited 40 minutes. And he came in like, ‘Big day. The Lakers came back and they won.’ And I thought, ‘It’s about to get bigger. You’ll probably have to sit down for that.’”

Burgess said she was scared at the time, but Green “smiled at the reveal, hugged her and said, ‘That’s great.'” faster than we thought. We were probably a year ahead of what we were talking about, but he was so excited knowing how badly I wanted this.”

She also recently recalled how nervous she was about also telling Green’s kids to expect a new sibling. In the same US Magazine article, she said: “These beautiful children have gone through so many changes and I’m always very sensitive to them. Even though they love me very much, who knows how they’ll feel about another child?” But they were so excited that their little “peanut” was coming soon — and can we talk about that adorable nickname?

In late 2020, Green and Burgess began dating and in February 2022, they shocked the world by announcing that they were pregnant. This will be Burgess’ first child. Green shares a son named Kassius, 20, with ex-fiancé Vanessa Marcil, and three sons with ex-wife Megan Fox named Noah, 9, Bodhi, 8, and Journey, 5.
