On her 65th birthday, Sharon Stone showed off a striking new look on Friday. The actress modified her look with huge candy red lips in a series of photos she posted to Instagram.
The actress wore polka dot pajamas in the unfiltered photos. The blonde beauty also showed off her messy headpiece, along with a pair of chunky black reading glasses.
In the caption, Stone wrote, “I did it. Finally. I’ve embraced the Hollywood look. Sometimes you really do get what you hope for.”
She carried a confection called Wax Lips, an edible cherry-flavored wax in the shape of two large red lips.
Stone posed while still in bed, with presents and red birthday balloons. Thanking her fans for the well wishes, she wrote “wonderful birthday” in the caption of the photo, which shows a beautiful arrangement of red flowers.
The actress also shared a photo of herself early in her career with the following quote: “Age doesn’t matter. Ask me how many sunsets I’ve seen, loved hearts, traveled, or attended concerts. That’s my age.”
The actress said earlier this week that she believes her risqué 1992 film Basic Instinct cost her custody of her adopted son, Roan, now 22. Quinn, 16, and Laird, 17, are Stone’s other sons.
Recalling the custody battle over Roan, she says, “I lost custody of my child. The judge then asked my son, my very young boy, “Do you know that your mother produces pornographic films?” »
After losing custody of her son when he was just eight, she claimed there was “abuse by the system” in the case. According to Stone, after her involvement in the film, people began to doubt her ability to be a good mother.
She added, “People walk around naked on TV these days,” she said. “Back then, one sixteenth of a second of nudity resulted in my losing custody of my child.”
Additionally, Stone spoke about the fear of losing custody of her child and the negative impact it has had on her physical and emotional well-being.
She admitted she ended up in the hospital with extra heartbeats in the upper and lower chambers of her heart.
