Canadian singer Shawn Mendes will not be performing his concerts at the Bell Center on August 15th and 16th and is therefore canceling the remainder of his world tour due to health reasons.
He made the announcement on his social media on Wednesday, explaining that after discussions with his team and a delegation of health workers, he realized he needed to make some time for himself. Time he never took and needed to refocus and come back stronger.
Earlier this month, the singer announced he was taking a three-week break from his Wonder World Tour to take care of his mental health.
However, he confirmed on Wednesday that he was canceling all dates for this tour, which was due to visit North America, Europe and the United Kingdom.
“At this point I have to prioritize my health. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop making new music.”
