She comes close to death to get her phone back

A 38-year-old French woman who risked her life to retrieve her cell phone, which she threw into a pool very late last Friday, was rescued after 30 minutes in the icy water thanks to witnesses.

Last Friday around 11 p.m., police were called in the middle of the night to the port of Fécamp, a town in northern France, after a woman fell into the Bérigny basin while trying to retrieve her cell phone that had fallen there. “France 3” reported on Monday.

Luckily for them, people passing by observed the scene and, thanks to the light of their flashlight, were able to capture them on an anchor between two pontoons, the French media continued.

According to the police, the 30-year-old then had water up to his neck.

It was only after about thirty minutes that the 38-year-old woman was finally freed from the water; she was frozen and so hypothermic that she had difficulty speaking, as local media reported.

Wrapped in a survival blanket, she was transported to a hospital, where she herself confided to the authorities the reasons for her fall.
