A young woman says she recognized the Lewiston shooter the moment she saw his face on TV, and for good reason: As a bartender, she used to serve him at Schemengees Bar & Grille.

Gunman Robert Card killed 18 people and injured 13 when he opened fire at a restaurant and bowling alley on Wednesday night.
Bethany Walker, who previously worked as a bartender at Schemenges Bar & Grille, said she recognized Mr Card immediately when she saw his face on television.

“He was a familiar face…in a small town like this everyone knows everyone […]. Then I thought I probably already talked to him,” she told CNN News.

His father, Joseph Walker, was one of Robert Card’s victims.

“I worked at the Schemengees restaurant and bar for several years and my father always told me that if something happened, I had to defend myself,” said Bethany Walker.
Mr Walker was the manager of the Schemengees restaurant and bar. He allegedly tried to attack the gunman with a kitchen knife but was shot twice in the stomach.
