A 28-year-old American woman has been arrested in Mississippi for allegedly killing her husband in a Facebook Live video in late March.
On March 25, Mississippi state Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office (LSCO) officers were called to a private property to respond to a domestic violence call, Vicksburg News reported.
There they arrested Kadejah Michelle Brown for the murder of her 28-year-old husband, Jeremy Brown.
The latter was shot and reportedly pronounced dead at the scene.
However, the act would have been filmed and broadcast live on Facebook. Just before the fatal shot occurred, the pair would have argued to the point where the fight would have become physical.
According to American media, we would also hear a child crying on the soundtrack of the video shared live. Officers allegedly found a 9mm firearm at the scene.
“There was a history of domestic violence between Brown and the victim,” Sheriff Eddie Hawkins said. It was a tragic and senseless murder and our thoughts and prayers are with the victim’s family. Fortunately, Brown is in custody and we look forward to the criminal justice system holding her accountable.”
