Kate Winslet definitely won't be promoting the weight loss drug Ozempic.

The British actress, who is currently starring in HBO's The Regime, says the medication “sounds terrible” as she discusses her eating disorder.

With Leonardo DiCaprio in the film “Titanic” (1997).

We know that Ozempic is virtually sold out in Quebec and in several countries because more and more people are injecting it to curb their appetite and lose weight. In fact, Ozempic was developed to treat type 2 diabetes, but celebrities such as Elon Musk, Sharon Osborne and Oprah Winfrey have also used it to improve their figures and encouraged others to do the same.

The now 48-year-old Titanic star no longer lets people talk about weight. She even recommends “eating even more things,” according to the Chron.

Kate Winslet has struggled to lose or maintain weight for years. As a student, she was called a “fat girl” and the same process continued when she began her career in front of the camera. This was also the case at the time of Titanic in 1997, when she was 21 years old.

Comments on the Internet, which was still in its infancy, claimed that at the end of the film it was the weight of Kate, who played Rose, that prevented Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) from climbing onto the board at his side to get herself to protect from certain death in the ice-cold waters of the Atlantic after the sinking of the British passenger ship.

Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Kate said: “Apparently I was too fat. Why were they so mean to me? They were so mean. I wasn't even fat. It's intimidation, you know, and it's actually borderline violent.” In fact, she wasn't plump at all.

“It can be extremely negative,” she told The New York Times Magazine. People are subject to scrutiny that a young, vulnerable person cannot handle.”

“But things are really changing in the film industry. When I was younger, my agent would get calls asking, “What’s his weight?”

In an interview with The New York Times Magazine, Kate Winslet said of her eating disorder: “I haven't told anyone about it. Because guess what: people around you say, “Hey, you look great! You have lost weight!”

“So even the compliment on beauty is related to weight. And I don't let people talk about that. If so, I’ll take it back immediately.”

Kate Winslet recently expressed her joy at seeing young stars defy fat-shaming and establish themselves in Hollywood.

“That has changed. And that has changed because young women today are born with one voice. They have a voice, they learn to keep it, they defend themselves. They know they are important. They count for something. They go well together. I think it's an exciting time for young actresses coming into an industry like this, which is huge. But the feeling of being supported, carried and nurtured has changed so much. That's wonderful.”
