Shocking moment: A couple selling their iPad is robbed at gunpoint in a California parking lot after meeting with suspects through the OfferUp app

This is the moment a California couple was robbed of their iPad at gunpoint by two teenagers in broad daylight.

Eduardo Reyes and his wife listed the device on OfferUp on December 23rd.

The teens contacted her and asked to meet in a Pomona neighborhood.

“They wanted to meet on a public street, which I don't normally do, but he sounded like he was a kid and said, 'Oh, my mom is going to go out with me,'” Reyes told KTLA.

Footage taken with the victim's Tesla shows the couple being approached by one of the thieves, who was wearing a hoodie and holding a gun.

While threatening him, both teens continued to try to grab the iPad from Reyes' hand as he struggled to let go of the device.

“He ran towards me.” As he ran towards me, I grabbed the iPad. I turned around and the other person had already taken out the gun and said, “Give me your iPad! Give me your iPad!”

“I thought, 'There's no way they have a real gun, this is crazy,' and I was worried because my wife was there and I thought, 'What if they try to do something to her?'” recalled Reyes.

The footage then shows the hooded robber tackle him to the ground after trying to snatch his iPad, while the other approached the victim's wife and body-slammed her to the ground.

The pair are seen grabbing one of the thieves as he fires his gun into the sky, while the hooded teen picks up the woman's phone from the ground and runs off with both devices.

The other teen also picked up an unknown object from the ground and ran away.

Reyes suffered head injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

“Meet in a public place, preferably near the police station or something, and I'll try to get more information from them, like maybe their phone number or something,” Reyes said after the incident.

Pomona police arrested the suspects yesterday and took them to the juvenile detention center. They also found his wife's phone in a nearby yard.
