The video shows the state trooper pulling Santana over on the side of the road in Springfield.
The two are talking when the suspect suddenly appears and tries to hide the fact that he has a gun.
But once Chapman-Green makes it, he retreats, but not before Santana can open fire.
He shoots the officer several times as he tries to flee before emerging from behind his vehicle to pursue him on foot.
Security camera footage shows Chapman-Green running for his life as Santana continues to fire a barrage of bullets.
Despite being hit multiple times in the legs, the officer pursued Santana to a parking lot where he was struck with the weapon, the New York Post reports.
Eventually, the suspect returns to his car and jumps back in before speeding away, while a wounded Chapman-Green is seen staggering back into the frame.
Santana was eventually arrested by police at 1:58 a.m. the next day after a high-speed chase.

Both he and Chapman-Green were hospitalized following the incident.
The state trooper is still recovering from his injuries, but his fiancée Maddy Kinsel confirmed he is fine.
She told the State Journal-Register: “He still has a long way to go, but God was with him that night and protected him from the worst.”
His father, Jim Green, also said his son was doing well. He added: “He loves being a soldier and he will never stop being a soldier. ‘He’s got one speed, and that’s go.’
Meanwhile, Santana was taken into custody following the crash.
