An elderly woman in Arizona slammed her car through the windows of a salon in a shocking moment caught on camera – scaring those inside.
Surveillance video shows the woman’s gold Lexus jumping over the edge of the parking lot and into Beastly Beauty Waxing’s windshield before coming to a stop in the reception area.
A separate video from some business owners at the Chandler building shows the stunned reaction of staff and customers to the accident around 1pm on Saturday, which left the driver with minor leg injuries.
Ashley Upton, owner of Aurum Men’s Salon, one of the businesses in the development, said if she had stood one foot to the left she would have been beaten.
“I really think I had an angel on my side today because if I had been a foot further to the left I could have been badly hurt,” she said.
“Other people could have been seriously injured.” “I’m just so grateful that it all happened like this and that nobody was seriously injured.”

Upton was cutting a customer’s hair just before 1pm on Saturday when the wall directly in front of her collapsed from the impact of the car.
Her security camera showed her and her client’s stunned reaction after the crash, before they began to calm down and find out what happened.
A third security camera perspective showed a man sitting in the lobby of one of Belle Vie Salon Studios’ stores when the car crashed into the window, missing him by a few feet due to its positioning on the couch.
According to local investigators, the woman lost control while driving in the parking lot. They don’t believe impairment played a role in the crash.
The woman’s car, which was totaled, was eventually taken away along with a black car belonging to Mario Cardona, which was hit by the rogue Lexus.
“You can’t worry about it. You can’t bend out of shape. You just have to deal with it. There’s nothing I could have done to change it. I was just pulling out of the parking lot. “She hit me,” Cardona told Arizona Family.
“It was a very bad accident. It was very loud. “There were about six people who immediately ran out,” he added.

Upton told the outlet she was relieved no one was seriously injured, including the driver.
However, some of the tenants had to close over the weekend and don’t know when they will be able to reopen to customers.
According to the outlet, it’s also unclear whether the property owner or the driver’s insurance will pay for the necessary repairs at the companies.
