This is the shocking moment when a circus acrobat fell off an aerial hoop and fell onto an ice rink, passing out to herself.

Circus-goers audibly gasped when acrobat Mia Gonzales Soto awkwardly landed January 10 at the Fantasy World On Ice circus in Tampico, Mexico after losing her footing.

After her fall, video shows her lying motionless on the rink as officers turn off the lights and staff rush to her aid.

The audience then applauds Mia, hoping to revive her.

She was taken to a hospital in Tampico after the horrific incident.

In a statement, the circus said: “Among our audience was a paramedic and she volunteered to provide first aid.

“We will always be grateful to her.”

It added: “The fall was dramatic. However, there were no breaks or internal damage.

“It is worth noting that Mia was able to leave the hospital. She is in the best of health.’

Local media reported that the circus show was able to continue as planned after a brief interruption.

Earlier this month, a circus performance was suspended after two tigresses fought in front of an audience of children and parents.

Trainers repeatedly hit the tigers with poles and threw props at them in an attempt to separate the beasts at the Kislovodsk State Circus in Russia.

A female tiger named Eru was attacked by a nine-year-old white tigress, Gina, who was rampaging during a number in the ring.

Eru was badly injured but climbed back onto a ring stool before collapsing in front of hundreds of children and their parents while blood spurted from her gaping wounds.
