Video captured the shocking moment a US Marine attacks two San Diego hotel workers – including a woman who is 4ft 10 inches tall – before they are knocked unconscious by a metal lamp.
The video shows a man identified as Jason Frink approaching the hotel reception and asking for a room. When the two women behind the counter told him there was no availability, the man became hostile and started swearing at them.
When Ronnie Toms, one of the hotel employees, asked Frink to leave, he refused and continued through the lobby. When the unidentified colleague, a petite brunette, told him he couldn’t pass, he angrily shoved her as she appeared both stunned and scared.
In the video, they can be heard saying, “Please don’t touch me,” while Toms, who recorded the disturbing scene, yells, “Don’t touch your brother. Don’t fucking touch her. You just pushed her. They just attacked her and it’s on camera.’
The attacker then got more aggressive and turned to Toms and said he was ready to fight. ‘Here we go. Put it up,’ he said. “I know where you’re from. What’s up,’ he said, before beginning to slap Toms.

A loud commotion can be heard on the video as Toms grabs a metal lamp, who struggles and is seen hitting Frink with the lamp as he tries to grab her feet.
Toms continues to punch Frink, who was lying face down on the floor at the time, and used his hands to cover his head before submitting.
The video shows some pools of blood on the hotel floor. Both Toms and Frink were injured in the scuffle.
Toms can be heard on video sharing her hip and leg pain after the attack. Frink was hospitalized, but it’s unclear what injuries he sustained, News Relationship reported.
The Marine entity — I MEF COMMSTRAT, based in Camp Pendleton, Calif. — told on Monday that it was Jason Frink, but did not specify his rank in the Marines or the number of years he served has served.
“We are aware of and actively investigating a video on social media of an incident that may have involved a Marine,” the statement said.
“The Marine Corps remains committed to maintaining its Marines at the highest level and will not tolerate any violation of our core institutional values.”
It is unclear at which San Diego hotel the incident occurred.

“This is not a video to promote violence. “Aggressive Daren” That’s not how I wanted my year to end. I had no choice but to defend my 4’10 colleague and myself,” she wrote. ‘(We are both women). After my adrenaline subsided, I started feeling pain in my thighs, shoulders, hips, and neck. (I won’t be able to skateboard for a bit of a doctor’s order).
She asked her followers if they wanted to show their “love” they could “throw her a few bucks” and then type in the name of her Venmo account and Cash app.
“My cash app is $thecollectivedrip. I post my Venmo/Cash app because a closed mouth doesn’t get fed and I’ve seen people do less and get less,” she wrote.
“Please refrain from trolling my page. I am a person with real emotions. So for the love of God, control yourself.
