One person was killed and 11 others injured in a shooting at an outdoor concert in Dallas, Texas, US media reported today.
According to news channel NBC News, the fatal incident happened at dawn on Sunday in a field in the southeast Texas city, and witnesses said the shooting began during a fight between two people.
Police arrived at the scene just minutes after one person fired a gun in the air, and another person pointed it toward the crowd.
Police found the victim, 26-year-old Kealon Dejuane Gilmore, lying near the concert stage with a gunshot wound to the head.
All of the injured were taken to hospitals by ambulance or in private vehicles, authorities said, adding that only one of them is in critical condition, with a cautious prognosis.
