During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, shots were fired at a residential building in the Sainte-Dorothée district of Laval.
The Laval Police Department (SPL) was alerted at around 2:30am to gunfire being heard on Galbrand Street, near Bord-de-l’Eau Road.
The police dispatched to this residential area found bullet holes in a residential building, the occupants of which were not injured.
Immediately after their crime, the suspects are said to have fled in a vehicle in an unknown direction.
No arrests have been made yet, a Laval police spokesman said, adding that the investigation had only just begun.
Added a security perimeter to protect the crime scene for investigators who needed to go to the crime scene to try and better understand what happened.
