SPVM police officers responded to a 911 call about shots heard on Rue Charles-de-LaTour near Rue Chabanel Ouest around 12:30 p.m.

A projectile impact was detected on the facade of the Achtarout bakery, where there were three people at the time of the incident.

No one was injured in this incident.

No suspects were arrested.

“At this point in the investigation there have been no arrests,” explains SPVM spokeswoman Jeanne Drouin. What we do know is that there would be one or more suspects who fled in a vehicle before police arrived on scene.”

The canine unit, as well as a forensic identification technician, have been deployed by authorities in the hope of collecting evidence to advance the investigation.

The same bakery was the target of an arson attack last May.
