The love nest of man-eater Shrek and Princess Fiona will be available on vacation rental platform Aribnb starting in October, according to Variety magazine.
“Located deep in the forests of the Scottish Highlands and equipped with the cozy amenities Shrek has accumulated over the years, the moor offers a secluded retreat. “This oasis of mud, moss and murky water is a comfortable escape from the outside world and a perfect way to enjoy the beauty of nature,” reads the description of the special accommodation.

Guests can relax by the light of earwax candles, enjoy a parfait, swap stories around the fire late into the night, enjoy a stack of fresh waffles in the morning, and enjoy complete privacy in Shrek’s trusty restroom.

Donkey, Shrek’s lovable sidekick, is the voice behind Airbnb’s official listing: “I’ll be looking after the swamp while Shrek is away this Halloween, and I’m happy to provide you with a fairytale stay,” the description reads. “Oh, and don’t pay attention to the ‘CAUTION’ signs. “They’re probably for decoration.”
Shrek’s Swamp is one of many showbiz-inspired properties that Airbnb has listed in recent months. In addition to numerous celebrities listing their homes (like Gwenyth Paltrow, Mila Kunis, and Ashton Kutcher), they’ve also run dozens of ads inspired by trending shows and movies, like Barbie’s Malibu Dream Home and Ted Lasso’s Favorite Bar.
Stays for a maximum of three people are possible from October 27th and reservations begin on October 13th.
