Presenter Sikêra Jr. is hospitalized in Santa Júlia Hospital in Manaus (AM) due to severe bacterial otitis. According to a video released by his wife Laura Peixoto, this Wednesday the 15th he had to be sedated so that he would not “try to escape from the hospital”.

“He has severe bacterial otitis. Since he’s not a simple person, very calm, they thought it would be good to sedate him so that the drugs work faster and he doesn’t want to run away from the hospital,” he says.
Lauta also asks fans not to believe the “nasty things” being said about his health. “Soon he will speak to you here. Thank you and keep on praying,” she concludes.
