But the shadow of Putin’s friendly coalition partners à la Silvio Berlusconi followed them to Kiev: there, the right-wing politician assured President Volodymyr Zelenskiy “all kinds of military, financial and civil support” and emphasized, also with a view to skeptics in their own ranks: “Those who support Ukraine militarily are working for peace.”
