The host Silvio Santos, 92, managed to send a message to Brazilians visiting his home in Orlando, Florida. In a handwritten note, the Abravanel family said they were unable to pay attention to every passerby.
The mansion where Silvio Santos’ family spends their vacations is usually a tourist destination for Brazilians visiting the city from the United States. According to Em Off columnist Fábia Oliveira, whoever walks past the house at the end of the year will find a note taped to the gate.

“Dear Brazilian friends, we are very grateful for your affection. We would love to be able to take a picture with everyone, but that would be impossible. I hope you understand. Thank you for visiting and may God bless you. Kind regards, Abravanel family. A 2023 full of life and joy,” the paper says.
Silvio Santos’ villa is located in Celebration, an upscale neighborhood near the Disney parks.
According to columnist Fábia Oliveira, it is not the first time that the moderator has left a message in front of his house. The property is fenced in and a sign read last year: “Entering this site is expressly prohibited for unauthorized persons”.
