Simone cant live without Simaria says Frank Aguiar who founded

“Simone can’t live without Simaria,” says Frank Aguiar, who founded the duo

Simone and Simaria began their careers at the age of 12 and 14 respectively, accompanying Frank Aguiar on vocals. The “Colleguinhas”, as fans call them today, were called “the little brats” and worked with the singer for seven years from 1998 to 2005.

The forrozeiro, who admits he’s not that close to the singers anymore, has been following the sisters’ recent disagreements and Simaria’s departure from the stage and in conversation with this column from syringesrecalled the different temperaments of artists, but stressed that despite struggles, one cannot live without the other.

I don’t think they can separate. They complement each other, I usually say they are like a lid and a potty. Simone cannot live without Simaria. They are sisters who have always fought but also defended themselves. They can’t stand it when someone talks about each other. They argue and then make up, it’s always been like that.

Frank says he’s sad to see many people judging the singers’ delicate moment:

I’ve seen negative comments, mainly about Simaria, and I’m very saddened by people’s lack of understanding. Simaria experienced the end of a relationship. Exhusband on the one hand, fan on the other, career on the other. She has ups and downs, she has peaked, but she is also gifted with imperfections. They want to judge and condemn them.

“Daughters of the Heart”

Frank Aguiar has already said in interviews that some arguments with Simone and Simaria ended their professional relationship. However, the Forrozeiro emphasizes that he has the Sertanejas as “daughters of the heart”, saying:

We had our conflicts, like a family does, but I admire them both so much. I would like to have a spiritual moment with them if possible, maybe a talk at their house. But of course I don’t know if you feel like it, I’ll always be available.

About this spiritual moment, Frank says that it has nothing to do with religion:

“If they allow, I receive many artists in my house weekly. I work as an instrument. In contact with nature. That’s where the chip falls. People reconnect with the essence and I connect with them, I go to the wound . something liberating.”

Gratitude for Simone and Simaria

When he recalls the partnership with Simone and Simaria, which began after Frank Aguiar heard them sing in a restaurant, he says it was a feeling of gratitude. The singer explains that the Colleguinhas accompanied him at the peak of his career and that it will never be forgotten:

We did 30 shows a month and a lot of TV shows. They slept in the car, in the dressing room. They have always been very willing. I am grateful and will always defend her. We have learned from each other and I know that this phase of their disagreements will pass. They deserve the story they built and keep building.
