Singer Simony ended radiotherapy sessions for colon cancer and celebrated the end of treatment. In the Meet with Patricia poetessShe said on TV Globo this Tuesday 20th that she was “very happy and grateful”.

She revealed that after 30 treatment sessions, she still has to take exams every three months. “My treatment ended, it’s been a long six months with a lot of suffering and a lot of pain but with a lot of learning. Now it’s trusting God to move on,” he said.

Simony discovered the tumor earlier this year during a simple routine exam. With a tongue, the singer had a colonoscopy when a tumor was discovered in the last part of the intestine near the anus. The artist published the diagnosis to her fans at the end of July.

She was taken to a hospital in São Paulo but released after undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

During the show, the singer thanked her fans for their support. “Very happy and grateful first of all to God and to all of you for receiving a little bit of your heart, of your prayers,” she concluded.
