Simu Liu and Allison Hsu will take their romance to the next level and meet each other’s parents over the Christmas holidays.
While they joked about how “meeting the parents” can be a “stressful time,” the couple looked relaxed and in love as they walked the red carpet for Unforgettable: The 20th Annual Asian America Awards at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles stood evening.
The annual awards ceremony, which honors and celebrates Asian excellence in entertainment, culture and social justice, was moderated by Eugene Cordero and keynote speakers included Daniel Dae Kim and Lisa Ling.

The actor, who hails from Harbin, Heilongjiang, China, looked both stylish and business-savvy in a blue suit teamed with a white shirt and black dress shoes.
Going for a more relaxed look, he chose not to wear a black tie or bow tie, instead leaving his shirt unbuttoned to mid-chest.
The 33-year-old Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star had his dark hair cut short and styled back over his face and over his ears with a small parting on the left.
Liu packed the PDA, making sure one of his arms rested tightly around her waist during her time in the red carpet spotlight.

Hsu, 26, absolutely beamed in a white and black dress while striking a series of poses before the awards ceremony.
The full-length number’s chest portion was black, while the rest of it, from her chest down to her ankles, was white.
There was also a light on the left so she could display her chamois at any time.
She finished off her look by letting her raven tresses flow long, straight and wide down her shoulders with a part on the right side.
Hsu is the digital marketing manager at Interscope Records, where she has worked since August 2020, according to Nextau. She is responsible for all digital and social media work for Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, FINNEAS, Holly Humberstone and other Interscope artists.

The couple plans to spend Christmas with their families, where they will meet each other’s parents.
“Yeah, doing the whole family thing and meeting the parents thing, which is a stressful time no matter who you are and where you’re from or something,” Liu said with a touch of humor during a conversation with People at the gala.
The Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star just made their romance official on Instagram earlier this month when he shared a sweet snap of the two at the Los Angeles premiere of Violent Night.
As for Liu, she recently shared a carousel of pictures of the couple during their overseas vacation to the tiny island of Anguilla.
The theme for the star-studded gala was ‘Illuminate’ and Black Eyed Peas star Apl.de.Ap (born Allan Pineda Lindo), who is Filipino-American, served as a performance part of the evening’s celebrations.
