Bollywood singer KK died of cardiac arrest, preliminary autopsy results show, PTI news agency said. Police also said there was no “lazy game” behind the singer’s death.
“The initial report indicated that the singer had died of a myocardial infarction. There was no evil game behind his death. The clinical examination also revealed that the singer had ongoing heart problems,” the official told PTI.
The final autopsy report will be available after 72 hours.
KK was known for songs like “Pal” and “Yaaron,” which became big hits among teens in the late 1990s and were often heard at school and college graduations and teen cultural events.

The singer’s sudden death after a concert in Kolkata had raised some questions about the arrangements at the venue.
Staff at the Nazrul Manch Auditorium in South Kolkata said the venue was overcrowded during the KK concert.
Many on social media claim that the air conditioning at the venue was not working and the heat became oppressive during the concert.
