Country singer Luiza Martins fell ill during a performance on Saturday evening (17) and had to interrupt the show. She was eventually taken to a hospital in Parauapebas, Pará. In a statement released on social media, the singer’s advisor recounted what had happened and provided details on the artist’s health.
The singer’s team reported that she was unable to finish the show and was taken for medical attention: “3M, the office that manages singer Luiza Martins’ career, announces that Luiza Martins passed away yesterday during a presentation in Parauapebas PA felt bad. and couldn’t finish the show. Luiza was referred for medical attention and was diagnosed with food poisoning,” the message said.
According to the statement posted on the singer’s official Instagram, she is fine and recovering: “She has been medicated and discharged for oral treatment, is recovering and is on her way to Tucumã PA where she will start her concert schedule continues in the state. We apologize to the Parauapebas fans who attended and thank you for your understanding and affection.”
