Singer Regis Danese has been discharged from the intensive care unit, the bulletin says G1

Gospel singer Regis Danese, who suffered a traffic accident, was discharged from the intensive care unit (ICU), according to the medical bulletin updated on Friday afternoon (1). Danese is admitted to the Governador Otávio Lage de Siqueira State Emergency Hospital (Hugol).

Regis underwent laparotomy and enterorrhaphy operations and according to the unit, he is recovering in the infirmary. In addition, the bulletin informs that his state of health is normal and that the singer is conscious and breathing spontaneously.

The singer suffered the accident on Wednesday night (30), on the way to a show in Ceres. Regis Danese suffered fractures to three ribs, his chest and his wrist. After his rescue, the gospel artiste said he survived the accident because God had a great purpose in his life (see video below).

According to the Federal Road Police (PRF), the singer’s car was traveling on the BR153 when it got into the oncoming lane at the end of a curve. Regis, who was driving the vehicle alongside his brother, lost control of the steering wheel and collided headon with a trailer.

Regis would perform a show organized by City Hall to mark Ceres’ 70th anniversary. In a statement posted on social media, organizers regretted the incident and announced the cancellation of the show.
