Ricky Martin and her husband Jwan Yosef are getting divorced after six years of marriage.

The 51-year-old Livin’ La Vida Loca singer announced in a statement to People magazine that he and the Syrian-Swedish artist have decided to go their separate ways.
“We have decided to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children and in recognition of what we have been through as a couple over all these wonderful years,” the joint statement read.
“Our greatest desire now is to continue to have a healthy family dynamic and a relationship centered on peace and friendship to continue our children’s education together while maintaining the respect and love we have for one another.”
The Puerto Rican singer and 38-year-old Jwan Yosef became close in 2015 after connecting on Instagram. They then made their romance official by making their red carpet debut at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in 2016. They announced their engagement that same year and their wedding in January 2018.
Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef have two children together, Lucia born in 2018 and Renn born in 2019.
The pop singer is also the father of twins Matteo and Valentino, who were born in 2008.
