Karinah made headlines at the end of August last year for being the buyer of the Xuxa villa, which had been for sale for three years. Karinah, 41, is married to businessman Diether Werninghaus, who is often on the list of Brazilian billionaires. He is one of the heirs of WEG, the company responsible for the production of electric motors, transformers and power generators, with assets worth $500,000 and R$6.10 billion.
The businessman is the father of the singer’s twin children, born in 2017. She is the mother of two other, older children from the artist’s previous relationships. She recently took part in the Mangueira Samba Enredo competition for Carnival 2024.

The mansion acquired by Karinah, where Xuxa lived for more than ten years, has 2,626 m², swimming pools, cinema, jacuzzi, volleyball and basketball courts, five bedrooms, living room, 14 bathrooms, three toilets, balcony, office, dining room. TV room, kitchen, laundry room, winter garden, fitness room, storage room, pantry, ruler’s room and two more rooms in the basement.
