The tragic incident happened in the early hours of the morning when Vivi Araújo lost control of her vehicle when she passed a speed bump on a road leading to the BR040. According to witnesses, the car collided with the surface of an overpass and the singer was thrown from the vehicle.
A close colleague of Vivi’s revealed that the artist was just returning from a presentation when she crashed into the viaduct wall. The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called immediately, but Vivi couldn’t resist the injuries.
