Sir Ringo Starr appeared in good spirits as he attended a photo op for his annual Peace and Love birthday celebration in Beverly Hills, California on Friday.
The former Beatle stepped out in Los Angeles with his wife Barbara Bach, 75, on the same day he turned 83.
He cut a casual figure, wearing a black T-shirt with a red and white pattern across the front under a blue camouflage jacket.
He opted for black Adidas track pants with white stripes down the side.
The musician completed his look by wearing a pair of comfortable black and white trainers and shielding his eyes behind dark sunglasses.

The drummer was seen posing next to a large silver hand holding up the peace sign.
At the bottom of the statue were the words “Peace & Love”.
He was alongside his wife Barbara Bach, 75, an American actress, who wore the same shirt as her famous husband.
She wore a black jacket and black sweatpants with red stripes.
The pair were joined by Barbara’s sister, Marjorie Bach, and her husband, Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh.
This comes after Sir Ringo ended his delayed, 22-date tour with his All Starr Band, which he previously canceled after falling ill with COVID-19 for a second time in 2022.
The legendary stickman stressed that he had never found touring or performing live “exhausting”.
He said at a recent press conference in Los Angeles ahead of the tour, “We’ve headlined the whole show and I feel ready to rock.”

“It’s not strenuous play.” It’s never been strenuous. i love to play I love playing with these guys.’
To his perseverance, he continued, “I didn’t think of that.” I just did it.
“Yeah, it’s been a long time…I mean, 34 years with a few years off because of the pandemic, but it’s what I do.”
“I love to play and I love to play with great musicians and I love to play great songs and I get all of that from these guys.”
In fact, the Let It Be hitmaker called for there to be fewer days off between shows on the tour.
He added: “I don’t want to sit in the hotel for three days and relax, I want to go out and play.”
“It’s just how I am, I just love it.”
“It’s great with this band because you know everyone carries the load.”

He shared how he got the 75-year-old Grammy winner to get involved: “I asked [Burnett] to help us.
‘[I said] if he has time and wants to do it… Well, he wanted to do it, and he sent me, I promise, one of the most beautiful country song tracks I’ve heard in a long time. It’s a very old school country. It is wonderful. So I thought, “Hey, I’m doing a country EP!”
One of the other EPs is a collaboration with legendary singer-songwriter Linda Perry, who has written hits for Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani.
He said, “I finished one.” [EP] just before I started rehearsals.
“We met and I love her.
“She’s just gorgeous.” She said, “Oh, Ringo, let me do it.”

‘[I said] “Okay, do what you do.” “The only thing I’m going to do on this EP is play the drums and sing.”
On his decision to ditch the album format, he added, “I meet people I’ve never worked with and I actually work with them, which I’ve always found exciting.”
“I just felt like EPs could be taken seriously and done in a month.”
“An album takes longer, so EPs are what I’ve done.”
