Over the weekend, Mexican authorities intercepted a group of Cuban migrants and other nationalities traveling irregularly through the area.

According to local media reports, a total of 158 undocumented immigrants were crammed into a trailer near Huehuetoca, more specifically on the Circuito Exterior Mexiquense.

It turned out that one of the trucks these Cuban migrants were traveling in had a punctured fuel tank, which immediately alerted security forces. After checking it, they found that it had blood stains on it. The driver of this vehicle was arrested and identified as Jair “N”, 22 years old.

At the same time, another similar vehicle, the very one involved in the accident, was also intercepted by Mexican police for further investigation and there the group of people were found crammed inside the vehicle.

The Mexican press stated that there were a total of six Cuban migrants in the large group, made up entirely of 81 men, 50 women and 27 minors.

As for the nationalities, in addition to the Six Antilles, there were also two Mexicans and one Colombian. The rest from other Central American countries like Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala and El Salvador.

Now all these people are at the disposal of the corresponding migration bodies, which in the next few hours will determine the fate that awaits each of them within the Aztec nation.
