Skye Wheatley reveals the pathetic number of influencers who actually get paid

Skye Wheatley has revealed that she only makes $100 for posting YouTube videos.

The 28-year-old Gold Coast influencer admitted the low pay was due to her clips not getting high views on the platform.

“Basically, the more views, the more you get paid,” the sometimes controversial Big Brother star explained in a question-and-answer session on Instagram on Wednesday.

Wheatley told a fan that she wasn’t paid much after the follower asked about her influencer fees on YouTube, continuing, “The last payment I received was $100 I’m pretty sure.

“But that’s because I don’t have lofty views.” Wheatley added that she plans to release more videos in 2023.

The voluptuous beauty has her own YouTube channel which has attracted 249,000 subscribers so far.

Four of her latest videos failed to reach more than 20,000 views.

Skye recently returned to social media after receiving backlash for posting “insensitive” video of the fatal Sea World helicopter crash.

Sydney’s mother Vanessa Tadros, 36, and British couple Ron, 65, and Diane Hughes, 57, died when a helicopter collided with another helicopter near Sea World theme park on the Gold Coast.

Pilot Ash Jenkinson, 40, originally from Birmingham, UK, was the fourth person to die in the crash.

Following the backlash, Wheatley paid tribute to the four people who died in the tragic incident and said she will be taking a break from social media.
