Jay Weinberg will no longer play drums for Slipknot.
The metal revival pioneers announced on their website Sunday that the man who joined the group in 2014 after the departure of original drummer Joey Jordison a year earlier would be turning to other horizons.

Jay Weinberg is the son of Max Weinberg, the drummer for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band. His departure marks the second time in five months that the band has lost a member, following the departure of keyboardist Craig Jones in June.
