A person discovered what appeared to be a dropped smartphone Airplane of Alaska Airlines, which lost its door during a flight from Portland, Oregon, to Ontario in the Los Angeles, California area.
The device was in airplane mode, had an email from the airline, cargo, and was unlocked.
Alaska Airlines' email confirming payment for two additional bags on a flight was accessible.
The man, identified as Seanathan Bates, found the device while walking along Barnes Road.
He initially suspected that the device might have been thrown from a car or dropped while running, according to a video shared on his Facebook profile. Tick tock.

Bates contacted the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) to report the incident.
He was told that this was the second cell phone found, possibly from the plane, according to a post on his social network
Remember the details of the incident
This happened on Friday evening (1/5), minutes after Flight 1282 took off from Portland International Airport in Oregon to Ontario, California.
After an explosion, the aircraft remained airborne for approximately 20 minutes, resulting in a loss of pressure in the cabin.
Oxygen masks were deployed and the aircraft returned safely to the airport after the crew reported the incident. Fortunately, there were no injuries among the 174 passengers and six crew members on board.
A Alaska Airlinesthe operator of the affected aircraft (a Boeing 737Max 9 delivered in October), announced the temporary grounding of 65 737Max 9 aircraft pending the completion of a maintenance and safety inspection.
